There were many moments this year where it felt like the future that I have been working towards for a long time was vanishing and blowing away in the wind. The uncertainty about my future made me start to reevaluate and reprioritize what’s important in my life, and it made me question what I was doing and if it was all worth it.
But then I had a realization. I don’t have to always see the big picture. I don’t have to see the destination at the top of the ladder right now, all I need to focus on is the next rung in front of me. It’s easy to get overwhelmed when I’m only focused on the destination, but in this moment I’m choosing to focus and keep working on my next step knowing that the path will become clearer and clearer as I forge forward.
