GROWTH
When we think of growth we think of flourishing, thriving, increasing, but not many people talk about how ugly, messy, and the hard work it can be.
In order for those new azaleas to grow the ground has to be prepared. Back breaking work of digging up old roots and rocks that would hinder the future growth. Tilling up the dirt with sweat dripping off your nose covered in grime. That’s how we get to see real growth & change. Hard raw honest conversations, vulnerability, realizations that I was actually the problem, digging deep and asking myself why I reacted so harshly. Yes, you still have to work after they are planted by watering and trimming them, but if you don’t do the grueling prep work, those azaleas won’t last.
