No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t think of an idea for this month’s photo. Usually I’m trying to pick the best idea I have out of many. Three days ago, knowing I had to get it done before the end of the month, I still had nothing. So, I decided to start digging into why I couldn’t think, and after retracing my thoughts it hit me. I had killed my creativity, motivation, and general wellbeing by continually opening and consuming the dumpster fire that is social media. I knew what was waiting for me, but I kept coming back.
