RECHARGE

In my younger days I was a sprinter, and a mindset from that bled over into my life: if it hurts - push through, overwhelmed - suck it up, exhausted-too bad. While thats great for the short term sprint, long term it creates problems, and life is a marathon.
I am re-learning to be ok with retreating and recharging, and for me that is stepping into nature. Even just a short walk through the woods and I can feel the anxiety and negativity unravel off me and I leave feeling lighter.
